A very good friend of mine explored the caves in the Taman Negara Jungle recently...spotted this little friend. I'd like to find out what type he is if anyone has knowledge of these animals. Looks a bit boa-ish to me with those stripes through the eyes... but I-a-know-a-nothing!!

That's damn cool.

I spent some time looking in caves in SE Asia hoping like mad to find one of those. Found a few taeniura looking sheds, but no snakes.

That's what I thought Chris, and now my friend knows the exact species!
Say a big hello to texas for me - my folks lived out their in Plano and I miss the trips to see them.
I've got into snakes since then and never realised people go out looking for them n stuff - do you actually get corns in the Plano area? I got mine after Texan friends introduced me to their pets..and then got back to UK and realised they aren't too far away in their natural habitat!!
