JESTER UPDATE

albinosunlimited Jul 13, 2007 12:08 PM

Well here is a quick update. We hatched this little girl from jester to normal. she has the pattern, head spot and yellow color with granite spots on her lower sides. time will tell if the black will start to fade. we will have to see if there is more going on with the genetics.

Congratulations, that looks promising. It will be amazing to
watch if that changes into what the adult looks like. Didn't
you have two of those? Like Jared, I'd like to see more info
about the project w/photos if you have time.

quick back ground info. the second male jester we got in did not make it. he came in dehidrated and with a large gash in his side.
we did also get in a female but we believe its a different morph and are calling her a joker i will post pics of her tonight.

the original male jester is in a shed and as soon as he sheds and the babys shed i will post more pics

we still dont know what is truly going on with these animals time will tell

will keep updating as more is figured out

thanks

Way to go Jon, I can see where it could grow into that Jester color and pattern. I'm really looking forward to that animal at 300 grams. Brian (BHB)

Jon.. thats awesome.. Ive been waiting for those for over a year now.. good work..

Now we get to watch if it fades out to look like the adult, or even better, the adult is a double visual.. Wow, how cool would that be??

That baby is better looking as a morph than alot of other morphs, (fires, cinny, some hypos) etc.. So cant wait to see it crossed with pastels and fires it will be crazy..

going to be fun watching it grow..

That baby looks kinda similar to a hatchling I got in a lottery bag. He's actually the only male I plan on keeping from that bag.

It's going to be a while before he breeds, but I can't wait!
