Albino Female 106 POS lots of photos

STUART Jul 13, 2007 01:45 PM

This female had the LARGEST ovulation I have ever witnessed. I was afraid she would die it was so large. That happened to me last year with an awesome breeder het albino that I had. She just couldn't handle that large of an ovulation. Well this girl just kept getting bigger and bigger her whole term. She must be carrying an army of little ones. Her last litter was in 2005 with the same male. So I am excited for this litter once again and hoping for more nice albino arabesques. She has also turned "purple" for the last term of her pregnancy which this girl usually does. It seems to me that some albinos turn purple when gravid and some dont. I wonder why that is? Cool phenomenon anyhow.

From the last litter with the same female and male 2005

She looks like she's going to explode! Hope you get a great litter.

I hope she drops an absolute ton of beauties. I look forward to see what she does let loose as her last offspring were knockouts.

That definitely is a LARGE ovulation! Hopefully that girl will give you another good litter this year. It certainly looks like the babies from the previous breeding came out dripping with color! I especially like the color on the regular Arabesque in the last photo.

Good luck!

Thanks,
Celia
