I have a female cal kingsnake that is getting to be about breeding size and i was thinking about getting a male milk or corn to do hybrid babies. I have heard there are some tricks that help make this more successful. Anyone know what they are? My King is below, any suggestions what would make a good hybrid? How do the genetics and patterns work with a corn/king or milk/king cross? Any help would be appreciated.

I have never bred snakes, but i have bred geckos and other lizards successfully.

try posting this on the hybrid forum, hybrids make some people realy mad.

if you want to breed your female king to a corn yould probably need a pair of both.

i suggest you wait to try a hybrid breeding until you have bred pure before so you know what your doing, plus ive heard females dont give many eggs the first time. so breed each pair separately one year the try for hybrids next year
