is she gravid???

Hi
After some days of waiting my female turns to this color , i want to know if she would turn to this color is she have been succesfully breed or she would turn to this color regardless not been breed? thanks for anything

Almost always means she's got eggs inside her. Can't say for sure, if it's from a successful mating. Used more to tell the males "Hey I'm gravid" so stay away.

Will females always change color when they are holding eggs (that could be infertile), or only after an actual mating.

Usually only when with'in eye sight of a displaying male. Female pictured is 40ft away from a big male. As you can see from her body shape, she's days away from laying. Took picture yesterday on her 22nd month anniversary.
