It's nice to see a Timor that isn't very shy! Mine is slowly but surly starting to lose some of his fear of me. Yours doesn't seem fearful in the least bit.

It was skittish at first but soon adjusted. The cage is in a high traffic area of the house so he's become used to noise and commotion. Also I never handle him. The funny thing is, if I dangle a mouse at the glass on the front of the cage, he comes right over and begins toung flicking at it. However, as soon as it hears the latch on the door, it bolts. I hold the mouse near where he hides, and he pokes his head out and snatches the mouse away. It happens so fast it looks as if the mouse vanishes into thin air.

I've been using the "leave him the hell alone" strategy. I've only had mine a few months, so I know not to expect massive results in that time.

I've taken to the advice of so many on this forum in those regards, to just leave him be and let him feel secure in his home.

And I know he's a Timor so handling just isn't going to be in the cards. Luckily he's cool enough just to watch, interaction with me isn't necessary.

I like the first pic the best. That's a good shot.

Later!
