I am getting 2 atb's from joel417. I need to know what size cage you would keep them in. I am going to the local herp show and get a hook and some tongs to feed them. I am excited. Thanks Joel.

My ATB is a 3ft wide by 3ft high by 15 inches deep. The snake has plenty of room in there and i think a pair could fit quite happily in a vivarium of this size.
hope this helps
Mike
I would highly recommend that you get TWO cages - if you have any branches or other cage furniture it can be very difficult to separate them for feeding. My ATBs get very alert and active when its feeding time. I have occasionally fed two in the same large cage when I am trying to get them to breed, but I stick around to watch them (and have had to separate them after they each thought the other was the rat). I use large Sterilite or Rubbermaid boxes with snap-top lids for my adults - they hold humidity well and branches can be screwed directly to the sides. Plus, the price is right at about 8 bucks each!
