The Post Ovulation Shed, POS, comes after a boa ovulates. If a boa ovulates, that doesn't mean she's gravid. It means that she has mature ova/eggs that will soon be, or have been released. If your male did his job and fertilized them, then she "may" have babies.

Sometimes everything goes great and you get a nice litter of babies. Sometimes there's a mixture of babies and slugs/infertle ova. Sometimes boas will "slug out". It's always better to see and ovulation, because you know to be expecting "something".
