Hey, figured id try to lighten things up abit!

So, without further ado, I give you the post-

Whats your favorite (i realize thats a hard pick) animal that you own, whats it name, and why do you call it that?

Im sure theres some funny ones, and some funny stories to go with em.

I suppose Ill start...

My Niles name is Wanderlust, cause the silly thing used to love to wander about my apartment when it was young.

No matter how hard I tried to contain it, the thing always managed to find a way to sneak out and hide someplace ridiculous- the bathtub (THAT was fun), the dishwasher, under my bed, IN the window frame, IN the TV, under the blanket i had covering my coffee table, IN the couch.... well, IN just about anything he could fit INto, lol

On one such excursion he came face to face with my lil kitten 'Tweeker' and a battle ensued... I wasnt home at the time, but when I came home and the first thing I see coming in the door is my 2' lizard go scurrying by on the hardwood, closely followed by a very confused, profusely bleeding kitten; I put 2 and 2 together (its 6, right?).

Here he is about 6 months ago Id reckon. (any chance someone could tell me female or male from these pics? I have no clue myself, never really cared to know, but would be interesting I suppose to know its a girl or fella)

TealC, SST, named such because like the Stargate character he is big black and beautiful.

Thank you. I got him from Larry Kenton (Maryland Reptile Farm), must be 3 years ago and he grew! He is the only snake in the living room. He gets to keep out the Riff Raff. Kinda fun to wait and watch to see how long it takes some folks to realize he is there....and alive. They think he is big enough to eat small children. He is 5ft and 15pounds. Yeah, deadly. ;0

Sonya, did you purchase your blood from Larry at an expo, or did he ship it to you? If you bought it in the area, we might have seen each other at an expo! Are you going to NARBC or MARS? Or even Hamburg or Richmond? I've talked to Larry and been to his booths any times, and bought some books off him.

He looks AWESOME by the way, love the eyes!

I got him from Larry at a White Plains NY show. He was the last of a clutch, little and male. He was marked $250 and NERD and others had similar blacks but with gold heads (which I dislike) for more. I was holding the little guy and two or three folks were behind me ooooowing. Larry watches me a sec and says that since he is the last and male he would take $125......I said SOLD and the folks behind me all moaned. He could have sold 3 or 4 more of them.
I heard from Larry that he lost the mom to mine not too long later. She was a wild caught adult and he had had her a while. So I think I got the last of that line.
I have some books from him too, of course.
Other than doing a table at the Buffalo NY show in Sept I doubt I will get to anything show wise this year.

Oh... I kinda was looking forward to seeing you lol. Larry goes pretty far to some expos, and he runs most of them around here.
