Thanks Aubry,

I'm nuts over one of those also. I'd like to holdback about 6 of these but I can't keep them all.

really nice Chris. I haven't found the energy to photograph all the thayeri I hatched. I just started cupping, labeling, sexing and feeding them last night and had a 50% success rate on first food offerings. The majority of them still have egg yoke bellies so I'm sure it's just a matter of time and presentation.

Have you offered food yet?

Russ

vichris Jul 15, 2007 06:25 PM

All of mine still have egg yoke bellies too. I've only tried to feed once. Its funny the last snake out and the last to shed was the 1st & only one to feed. I've got all but 2 of them sexed. I'll probably try feeding in the next couple of days.

2nd clutch have all shed except a pair of twins. These two are just tiny. It's the 1st pair of twins any of my snakes have produced. They are leonis so I'm hoping I can get them to feed and survive.

Ooohhh, I can't wait to see! Are the third clutch and the first clutch related? Did Sharktooth sire any of your clutches this year? He's gorgeous.
Have a great day.

As always, you have beautiful animals and take beautiful pictures of them. You need to tell me that they have the same parents as Rocket does so that I won't be tempted by them. When I get a girlfriend for Rocket, I want her to be as unrelated as possible.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Bill,

Butterscotch is the mother of both "rocket" and this 1st clutch. Now the second clutch I just posted are unrelated to rocket.
