Not unless the powers that be just recently changed their minds. A shame.

Venomous snakes---best hobby on earth!

what in the world would be the benefit of NOT having it? i dont see any reason to "not to have it"
I sure wish they still had it, but unfortunately there are several reasons to not have it:
They have to rent a separate hall for the venomous, which I'm sure is not cheap. (It wasn't big, but it was in a separate section of the building on the second floor).
There were only maybe 10-12 vendors selliing venomous at the last one.
Rumor has it that in the past, F&G has set up outside the show waiting for out of state visitors who didn't know they needed a Florida permit just to take things home with them (even though the purchase was technically legal).
And the most important thing...LIABILITY.
I'd be willing to bet that it COSTS the promoters money to have the venomous section at Daytona.
I went to a show in Orlando where they had the venomous section in a corner of the main hall (which was half empty), and that probably worked out fine for the promoters, but at Daytona, the main hall is filled to the rafters with exhibitors (including all the little side rooms) and packed solid with visitors. Not a good place to have a hot section...
