Hi everyone, I'm recently acquired a two month old kingsnake, I'm not sure if it is a Splendida or not. He's mostly black with lemon yellow criss-crossing patterns on it's belly. I handled him yesterday an noticed a couple(2 or 3) pink spots on the bottom of his tail that were not there before. I'm afraid of him getting burn by the heat mat or something. I have a constant 80 degree temp. on the bottom of the tank during the day and 75 degrees at night. I'm not really sure if they're burn marks or what not. Does any one know what it is?
