Strange white patch on veiled cham...please look

Jack31081 Aug 18, 2003 06:53 PM

Took this picture of my veiled about 10 minutes ago. I dumped crickets in his bucket and he came running over, and I saw this weird white patch on his side. It doesn't look like shed, because it's not flaking anywhere.

Any ideas on what this might be?

Info:
sex: male
age: 20 months
misting schedule: 2x daily, whole cage
feeding schedule: ~15-20 crix, every other day
crix feed: lettuce, potatoes, carrots, store-bought crix food

Thanks for any help.

Hi-

Looks like the beginning of a shed to me, nothing to worry about. Hope this helps!
