Have you been drinking ORANGE Kool-aid?

Jeff Clark Jul 16, 2007 01:39 AM

All of these PICs are Peruvian Rainbow Boas,Epicrates cenchria gaigei. They are all females except for the last one. The color is not quite right in some of the PICs. I was trying to capture the extreme orange lips on the females but it came out too pronounced in the first PIC and totally washed out in this PIC of the three females piled on top of each other.

These next two PICs most accurately show the color on the heads of the females.

The male has been a real pig and has grown bigger than but has turned out not as pretty as the females.

if you are taking requests I would love to see some of your snakes outside in the sunlight cuz it tends to bring about the best in them I believe. I mean we can all take photos inside with our lighting set-ups but I don't have good light inside and the sun is universal too lol. I would really love to see Sunkist and some of your Peruvians outside when you get a chance but remember to check the yard first so no copperheads interfere with your photoshoot thanks for sharing btw

That's O.K. Jeff, we ge tthe picture. Those Peruvians really are beautiful. In fact, My life may have taken a silghtly different turn if Peruvians had been more readily available in 1990. I've loved the look of them since I saw them in Ross' breeding book. I hope someday to have the space to be able to aquire some of my own. Beautiful snakes!!!
