A-lot of us experinced breeders don't respond to the simpler questions because the questions have been asked before and the anwsers can typically be found by serching the forum! All the past enteries are stored and can typically be found with a little research. I find that most questions that deserve an anwser typically get anwsered.

You asked a question. You got a reply asking for more info. You didn't reply to the request for additional info. Then........

You posted your comment about not getting questions answered.

Now I read your post below. I saw the response that was given. I would have added to it "if" you had given additional info on your boas.

To solve your delima all you need to do is....

Give additional info when asked. Post pictures to help people "see" what you're talking about. Then........... Be patient when waiting for a response.

Most of us don't live in the internet. We like to spend weekends with family, friends, and/or taking care of our boas.

I realize there are some unanswered questions. Most are simple and can be found with a simple search. Some just get overlooked. It's really nobody's fault. Things happen. If you don't get a response the first time then.... Try again. Just remember to be polite and give as much background info as possible, so that your questions can be answered.

Well I for one am happy and eager to help out a "newbie" with a question concerning there boas. I understand how fustrating it can be when you are trying to find out the answer to a particular question. Over the years I have found that there are alot of very helpful folks here on this forum. Please bear in mind that there are alot of folks here that have seen the same questions time and time again and may not respond with an answer everytime. Also, make an effort to try to find the answer yourself by doing searches of the forum. Doing so my give you the info you wanted and teach you more than anticipated.

It's a lot to expect us to be your free breeding advice service. I think that's what's amazing. I don't mind helping but it isn't practical to answer every newbie's questions, when they are always the same endless questions. You can read on the web so many sites that tell you how to keep boas, maybe you should start there. I really tuned you out after the 'they live in a shed' part. I mean really that needs a whole lot of clarification. Like where do you live? How big is the shed? How is it air conditioned/heated? No place is that perfect. I would never put my boas in any shed I can think of.

I mean it's hard to get past you kept them together for 10 months also. That's dangerous. You need a lot of help with boa care period, not just breeding. It's just too much work to start from the beginning and tell you how to keep boas, breed boas, and care for a gravid boa in a little post. It's just to huge a question. It's like asking can you please teach me how to care for and breed boas in one little post. I try to help people but that's more help than can be given in a little post. You should have known all about breeding boas before attempting it. To be real honest your description sounds more like she's got a tumor than that she is gravid. The Boaphile has a video on breeding I believe, maybe you could get that and watch it.

Not many forums fail to provide a SEARCH feature,
failing to use such tools is who's fault ?

Toss out a question like you did, with no pics, no details, not respond to any of the inevitable requests for more details And then complain because nobody could look into their crystal ball and answer your question!!

Yeah, some questions get missed but I see a lot of questions getting answered, and yeah, many of those are repeated over and over again.

IMO bottom line, if you want to ask a question and really want an answer that is meaningful, expect to fill in some details you did not think to include. If you knew up front all the necessary details to include, then you would most likely be able to answer your own question.

And yeah, like already mentioned, we don't all "live" here. Most of us check in from time to time (as work allows ) so don't always see everything or have time to respond to each post. I saw your original post, saw the answers you had and had nothing else to add, not enough info to make an informed opinion.
