unknown kingsnake

onebadguy Jul 16, 2007 11:56 AM

Hi
Total newbie to both kingsnakes and forums.

i have acquired this snake recently after losing my well loved ball python. The king has been very badly mistreat, underfed and housed in an enclosure with a bare incandescent light bulb, resulting in some burns, scar tissue and missing scales over the last third of his length (4 1/2ft approx 2 yrs). he or she is a lovely snake with excellent temprement considering his housing and husbandry, (mouthing and warning nips now and again)

i am having trouble trying to identify the type of king snake, tied between spotted, speckled and mole, if someone could please help.

pic attached (not sure if it worked tho!!!)

It looks like the image is on your hard disk and not hosted somewhere where it can be viewed by a browser.

Try uploading to photobucket.

No worries splendida. You no longer have post of the year. Your post is a distant second to Zennys new post where he has a pic of his snake eating a good egg.

I'll never live this one down. Maybe I should just change my name to hey you?

Bluerosy Jul 17, 2007 08:16 PM

all I know is I can't compare it to anything else I have seen.
