Question about Andean/Honduran Milksnake

TJ. Jul 16, 2007 03:56 PM

I know the two have probably been crossed before ...but I was just wondering: Since they're both considered "Monster Milks" would the combination create a "Super Great Big Monster Milk" or just an odd looking Big one? Please note: I have no intention of trying this... just curious about Lampro genetics. (And I WILL ask this on the Hybrid forum, too) Also, don't want to spark a rabid debate (sorry) but would an Andean/Honduran be classified as a hybrid or an intergrade? Anyone have any pics of one? Thanks. TJ.

I don't know that the cross would be any larger than an individual of either subspecies. You could create a larger milk by simply selectively breeding the largest milksnakes of either subspecies to each other.

And they wouldn't be hybrids because they are just subspecies of the same species. They would be crosses, but not hybrids.
