I am looking to get a trans pecos ratsnake. Does anyone know if anybody at Daytona will have any?

Mike Murphy will have some very pretty yellow ones. He'll be working at a friend's table (Rich Zuchowsky). Good luck...wish I could be there this year!
Also, stop by and say hi to Craig Trumbower...he'll have some nice ones on display, but not to sell.

Lee Abbott had some blondes at last yrs show, and as far as I know, plans to have some again. He sold out quickly on the first day, so get there early.

Thanks for the replies! Are all these trans pecos that are being offered captive bred?

Yes, they're all captive-bred from multi-generations of captive-bred stock. (Isn't Daytona 'captive-bred only' anyway?)

Well it is supposed to be CB only but...

With HB 12 presently being enforced in West Texas, I doubt you'll see many wild caught TPRSs in venues where it's even legal to sell them (e.g., other places besides Daytona), much less places where they're "smuggled" in and escape the radar, like Daytona. Besides, if it's blonde, silver, or albino (or anything other than normal)...chances are p-r-e-t-t-y good that it's captive-bred.

Yeah Dusty I may have come off in the wrong way. I was referring to the iguanas and some of the boas and ball pythons more than TPRS. Sorry about that.
When I lived in Florida I went every year and there were a few big vendors that managed to get away with WC every year because they had 8-14 tables. Then it seemed that the trend started to spread. I haven't made it to the last couple but I hope the trend has reversed!!

I'm sure you already knew that, Jason. I was just clarifying for any newbies/newcomers to TPRSs who might be reading this.
And I hear ya', there's a good reason that those rules for CB Only get put in place, and it only hurts our hobby when they are broken/ignored. As someone wise once said, you can't break a principle of prosperity; you can only break yourself against it.
Ciao,

Hey. Sorry to chime in late. Thanks for covering me Dusty
I'll have a few blondes and regular het for blondes. they all hatched last November and eating like pigs. See you guys at the show.
Mike
Thanks!!! I'll be sure to find you at the show.
We will have a few available. The first "snow" and some albinos produced from Craig Trumbower's triple hets will be on display, along with some sibling '06 offspring that are possible hets for snow and albino. Some silvers will be available also. Stop by and see us at Peace River Herps.
