Hello,I'm new to dragons and I would appriciate your help.Although I have read some literature nowhere seems to mention the exact quantity of food eaten by a jouvenile dradon, how many crickets? Also he seems not to be interested in veggies, should I 'force' him to eat them?
Thanks

Sorry you won't find that information anywhere, there are just too many variables. Every dragon is different and cricket size is not consistant either. So a dragon may eat 50 1/4" crickets but only 20 3/8" crix. You should just feed him all he will eat in a 15-20 min. period at least 2 times a day. Crickets should have bodies no longer than the space between a dragons eyes.

Greens should be available full time even if he doesn't partake. I would not force feed you could try hand feeding if you want but it's not that important. Babies need protien from live food to grow and will eat more salad as they age.

I read on a web page to have the greens floating in water to keep them from drying out. I am going to try this with my babies this year. I always start with a mix of mustard greens and romaine and all my dragons have been good salad eaters.
