While I was checking on my second clutch of Black Rat eggs, I looked in on the box with my amel E. g. emoryi eggs. I wasn't expecting them to pip until next week, but these unfit (you know by now that I am saying that as a joke here) little snakes came out early. I will post photos of the little guys in a few days.
If anyone cares to know, I incubated the eggs at 29C. All the youngsters look perfect so far.
And please keep this straight, they are just unfit. They are not mutts! Also, compared to E. o. obsoleta, they are also very fat little snakes.
