impactions

ok i got some gift vouchers for DIY stuff, so i spent it all on play sand, the fine grain stuff. i switched my gecko over asap, he was starting to eat aswell. a cricket here and there, and i thought he was starting to get back on track, but now he's stopped again. his feaces went from normal, to a runny greeny/grey one, then back to normal over a weekend . his feaces arent big and usually about twice a week. i've been giving him bath's, even though i havent been told he's impacted etc, just to try and improve his digestive system, get what's in there out and get new food back in. when i pick him up it doesnt feel like he's impacted (the vet said you should be able to feel a hard spot on its stomach) and it's still very very supple.

also, would a leo not try to eat his food if he thought it was too big? or would they just "trial-and-error"?

how active should a gecko be?

would be nice if you could all tell me how all of your's are so i can get an idea if mines active or not. so far, all i see him do is walk from his coconut hide over behind his water bowl...and that'll be it, and im usually up til 2-3am...could this be putting him off, he's literally 2feet away from me. i mean he's never hissed at me in my life, and walks up and onto my hand with a little coaxing, and doesnt scatter of jump when i move, but his back seems to be really sensitive, will this just be a size or age thing?

thanks

My Leo is very active once the sun goes down. She will come out at night and climb around the rocks etc. When i come over to the tank she will climb up the face of the tank to have a good look at me. She is very active to be honest but thats not to say that your guy has anything wrong with him. My friends Leo only comes alive when its dinner time and after that you would think he is dead as he just lies around the rest of the time. Im sure all is ok
