ravencassidy Jul 17, 2007 08:57 AM

I adopted a Ball Python friday and I have never seen a pattern like he has. I think he's a yellow belly but not sure. he has alot of white and yellow going through his scales. real nice snake was handled alot. it is said to be about a year or two. not sexed so don't know if it's a female or a male but the snake book said males have larger spurs than females so he might be a male. can anyone tell me what he could be? I would love any help you can give. thak you

Try reposting the pic, it didn't come up. If this is your first time posting pics, don't worry, it can be a total pain on here. If I were you, I wouldn't go off the spurs. That isn't a sure-fire way to sex a snake. The only way to truly know is to have it popped or probed.

Kittens?
Anyways....
Yea, what he said:
Your pic didn't work.
You can preview the post before you post it... to make sure your upload worked.

Hope you're feelin' better. Got my fingers crossed for ya on those bee's. I want you to get them so I can see one in real life That may sound weird but pictures don't give the animal justice, you've got to see it in person. Good luck

Picture would help - also you need to have it properly sexed by someone that knows what they are doing - you cannot visually sex a ball. To post pictures:

You must first upload the photo to the internet. If you don't have a website or some kind of photo account (like AOL or photobucket) that allows you to upload photos to the web you can register for Kingsnakes Photo gallery (Photos tab at the top of the page).

Once you've gotten the picture uploaded you can put it in your message three ways:

First step is to right click the image and get the properties - you'll want to copy the image location or URL (http:.....).

1. Type or paste the URL between [ img ] [/img ] (take out all the spaces) - this route will allow you to include as many photos as you want in the same post

2. Type in or paste the URL where it says "Image URL" at the bottom of the message posting screen. This will only let you include one picture in your post.

3. If you use Kingsnakes photo gallery - you can select it from a drop down menu of the photos you have in the gallery (found on the message posting window). By holding down the CTRL key, you can select up to three photos.

Good Luck!!!
