I finally got the "daddy" dragon to eat some collards yesterday! I was really excited. The fat stores are still huge on his tail so I think he was just on a "diet". He just brumated about 6 monthes ago before being bred so thats probably not the reason he was being so stubborn.
As for the babies. 23 have hatched and the final, 24th egg still looks alive but slightly deflated as they tend to get before hatching so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. They haven't turned out as pretty as the last clutch but a few of them are promising redish colored lips and ears. There are also a few that have some lighter red colors on their backs and legs that I am hoping will increase in color and brightness as they age. Their crickets come tomorrow morning, but none of them have shown interest in eating so far.
