Anyone Ever Heard of...

JSpythons Jul 17, 2007 08:41 PM

Dr. Frederic Frye who deals with reptiles? I'd like to know if any of you have heard of him and what you think of him. I have gone to him and was very pleased. Fortunately he lives about a 1/2 hr. from my house so if I ever have an emergency, I am in luck. Let me hear your opinions.

I don't know Dr. Frye personally but at one time he literally wrote the book (several actually, I think) on reptile medicine. He has been around a long time. You are fortunate to be so close to him.

I know Dr. Frye! He stayed at my house several years ago! He's a great pathologist and really knows his stuff! I haven't talked to him in awhile! Be fortunate to know him!

Hey there, where are you located. I live in Santa Rosa, CA. I don't know if Dr. Frye was traveling around when he stayed at your house but I'd like to know where you're located. I think it's pretty cool that not only is he a great herpetologist, but he is also a normal human doctor. He is a great guy and he said that he could help get me into the herp school he went to. I thought that was pretty awesome. I can also start volunteering at his place so I think I am gonna do that.
He did write that two volume book on reptile medicine. He had a copy in his office and it was pretty cool. Anyways, plain and simple, he knows his stuff, he's a great guy, and I am so lucky to live that close to him.

I also forgot to mention that I have his phone number and I could email it to you privately if you want it. Just let me know.

I live in the Cleveland area! He was in town, speaking to NOAH (Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists)! I do have his e-mail address here somewhere! He also has some close friends in the Columbus area, who I met him through! Good Luck!
