Question about slate...

PoohBear03031 Aug 18, 2003 09:04 PM

I was just wondering how thick the slate should be, and how well it holds the heat. Any response appreciated. Thanks.

most slate I have seen used is the ceramic or floor tile slate and it is about 1/4 to 3/8 an inch thick usually. Holds heat well.
