Breeder Tub depth???

artinscales Jul 18, 2007 08:28 AM

We currently breed rats in cat litter boxes that are 5 1/4" deep. We are looking into breeding mice. We have an automatic watering system. The watering valves are even with the top of the tubs in a rack system. Their food would sit atop the hardware cloth. We need to know what depth would work for mice, so they can reach the food and water???

Thank you.

Those sound like the pans in my "mice" racks that I also use for rats. Should work just fine.
