This is the only one of the season to lay, I think the weather had them messed up some. I may have 1 more gravid will have to see.

My Mexi Black female double clutched herself and laid 10 eggs yesterday. Has any of you experiendced them doubling clutching theirselves and what was the success ratio of the eggs?

You know, I have 2 snakes that are doing that exact same thing. Last week my Nelson's Milksnake laid 7 eggs out of the blue. She didn't even look gravid! It looks like only one out of all of them appears good, but we'll see.

Also, one of my Cal Kings appears gravid and is going into a shed. What kills me is that I sold this female and the guy is picking her up this week. If I knew she was going to lay again I would have kept her longer!

I didn't reintroduce the male to either of these girls, but I guess they weren't finished for the year.

I have purposely doubled 1 of my thayeri one year and had good results. The mexi female has not been with the male in months and she laid her first clutch May they hatched July 7, i noticed she made a shed a couple of weeks ago and was looking thin and feeling musy like she had eggs. I really wasn't thinking about it till she started doing everything in her power to escape so i gave her the lay box and sure enough she laid, at least 5 to 6 look really good the others look kind of small. She looks rough I am going to have to really pump her back up.
