i had a male that was the same way and I started washing a small frozen rat with dish soap and water and then rinsing it very well and put it in a pile of mice. After he was taking that with out hesitation I went to washing them and rolling them around in a bag of mice, then with out washing them I roled the rat un-washed in with mice. the whole process took a month or two i think it just depends on how stubborn your snake is My girl I just fasted her for about two weaks and she went right to eating rats. Hope this helps

thanks for the advice, i'll try it. I also have a female about three foot that the dealer told me hasn't eaten since feb. she is thin and i have been rehydrating her, I did notice that she has a lump in her mid section, kinda more toward the front of her body then the back. could this be an impaction? I have been soaking her daily, If so besides the vet at this point is there any other way to help this problem ie laxitive, etc? Just wondering, many thanks!! oh and i have also put her in a smaller tank with higher heat consistent high 80's low 90's. should that help to?

I would definately try and take her to an experienced reptile vet. and keep them separated(quarantine) to make sure its not crypto or something else contagious. Good luck

New Guiene is split into two halfs, the eastern half is called Papua and the western half was called Irian Jaya, but from what I understand it was renamed Western Papua, so a few people started calling them the technical name which would be Western Papuans, but there are many old schoolers and people like myself that still refer to them as Irian Jayas.

And whats makes it even more confusing, is that if you go to Europe they call them Morelia Spilota Harrisoni...instead of Morelia Spilota Variegata

I might be wrong, but thats how I understood it..

I have 3. All love mice but won't eat rats. The large female eats small rabbits, but all of them like hamsters.
