they're so tiny. do all tarantulas look like these when they are babies? they just look like normal spiders. my uncle is a vet and sometimes he tells me stories to mess with me and sometimes he is telling the truth. it always works cuz i am so gullible. so one of the stories is that is your tarantula falls really far or gets cut and it's exoskeleton is broken you can just push all the guts back in (carefully with sterile gloves) and duct-tape it back up, and your tarantula will be fine. is that true? (don't try it, cuz my uncle's story ratio of true to false is about 1:10)

It is true if they fall from a certain distance they can hurt or kill themselves, I had smaller spiders the first round, one being able to lay on a pencil eraser at the end of a pencil and hang it's legs off, thats why i say these are bigger. some come in plain colors and as you can see the pinktoe and others already have their colors to them. Go onto trantula.com or other arachno boards and you will see all the new born babies and hear the truths. PM if you want some links to sites im on.

very cool.. I have sort of a love/hate relationship with them. I don't think I would ever keep one, but I love to photograph them and see others pics..

that little pink toe is cool!!

Never thought I'd say this.....

Those spiders are so cute!!

I never thought about how they'd look as hatchlings, sooooo tiny and that pinkfoot, is more like a pink fuzwad.

Glad to hear they made it alright, now get secure cages and lock them things up nice and tight.

Myself I only have one tarantula, a Mexican red rump. It isnt' all that much bigger than your red knee. But it has grown quite a bit since I bought it couple months ago. (May I believe). Pic below is on the day I bought him. Will post an up to date picture later.

those are some pretty cool looking spiders. i wish i could get a tarantula or a scorpion but my girlfriend would never come over to my place again if i did.

Love the pinktoe a lot, I told you last time you posted but in case you forgot I bought my friend an antilles pinktoe tarantula and it is beautiful. I don't have a pic of her but it looks like this

Thnks all i will name them when i can find out what theya re which takes quite a few more sheds so it will be awhile,don't plan on breeding as 200 slings might be a few too many to keep in tiny containers although it would be neat if i had the audience to sell them and all. Just got done feeding them and only the red knee grabbed it's meal and headed down the hole, the pinktoe made a web and the cricket is caught on it and thats all she wrote for now. Love seeing all the T pic's thnks for sharing, ill get use to them sooner or later.
