Pastel Hypo Mojave????

marshallvt Jul 19, 2007 05:15 PM

I need some opinions on these two mojaves. I believe one is a pastel mojave het for hypo and the other is a mojave het for hypo. The blushing is really extreme in the male pastel Mojave and the female is really yellow. I want to make sure it is not a hypo pastel mojave and the other is a pastel mojave.

the clutch was:
1.1 pewters poss het hypo
1.0 pastel mojave het hypo ???
0.1 mojave het hypo ???
1.0 pastel poss het hypo
0.1 poss het hypo

The female was a pastel poss het hypo and there were two males used in the clutch. One was a hypo mojave and the other was a cinnamon het for hypo. I got nothing else out of the clutch that looked hypoish. So I missed or the female pastel poss het is not het for hypo. I was thinking she is not het for hypo but with the two males I might have only 2 babies from the hypo Mojave and the rest are from the cinnamon het hypo. So I got the right odds for hypo on the Mojave side and missed on the cinnamon side if the pastel mojave is also hypo.

Let me know what you think. I have not seen any pictures of a pastel recessive hypo mojave so I don't have anything to compare them too.

my opinion...looks like two norms, one mojave, one pastave, one pewter, and one pastel-cinny-mojave, what a wild clutch! haveing the two different males in made it very interesting, i dont really see the hypo influence in the babies also hard to see real cleary from a picture, really cool nontheless. let us know when you figure it out, hope my guess helps.

You can't have a pastel-cinny-mojave in that clutch....so that one is just a pewter.

its a hypothetical guess, it could happen in this clutch if the sperm from to different males can influence one snake, but your right, now that i rethink its not possible, obviously two males can influence the clutch not each egg. that one pewter looks alot like a mojo cinny cross, it would be pretty cool though!

to me also. We produced a Pastel Mojave in 2005 and I have at least one in the egg right now from a Normal x Pastel Mojave breeding. I wish the one we produced was out so we could compare hatchlings. Very cool clutch and great odds! Nice to see you getting some really cool stuff this year.
