Well the results are in from my first clutch and it looks like I managed to bat 5 for 5 - all pastels! Small fish for most of you guys, but I'm pretty darn proud of them.

Those are some great odds and some great looking babies. I have a pair of pastels and I have to say, pastels are my favorite morph. Their combinations are virtually endless. Now all I need is a new morph to come out that needs a pastel in order to produce some babies. Then hopefully the prices of pastels will go up but I don't think that will happen, lol

odds for sure. The first year we bred Pastels we had 17 eggs and NO PASTELS! After we picked up our jaws we finally realized it's all odds and they aren't always in your favor. Nice clutch though and for your sake I hope they're all females!

Wow, 17 eggs and no pastels! :O

I'm really hoping for some girls in the group. Hope my luck doesn't swing the other way on that! My hubby is the expert when it comes to popping/sexing, so I will wait for him to get home from his business trip to find out for sure. I may try my luck in the meantime, but he is so good at it, I usually leave it to him.
