Why can't people making movies about crocodilians do some research? I am trying to watch Supergator on the SciFi channel. I can deal with bad scripts and acting, even bad special effects. What I can't deal with is things like the bad CG gator flying out of the water like a great white attacking seals off the coast of South Africa. Or the gator out hunting on the side of a volcano. There is such great potential for an exciting horror movie with crocodilians and they are always done so stupidly. I don't get it.

Hey I feel your pain. I wanted to see this as well but read how aweful it was. I agree - why can't they make some good croc movies, besides Lake Placid.

Lake Placid I thought was good (pretty good anyway) but oh my Lake Placid II sucked so bad!!
Realistic croc movies I guess are just not exciting enough, only good for animal planet doc's

I'm sorry. I did forget to mention that I love Lake Placid. I own that one. That's what I mean. I'm not expecting an academy award winning film just one that has done a little research about the crocodilians.
