FIRST TIME BREEDING BOAS

GLENNHERP1 Jul 20, 2007 01:01 AM

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME BREEDING BOAS.IT HAD BEEN ABOUT 8 MONTHS SINCE COPULATION OCCURED. THE FEMALE WAS GETTING HUGE BUT I STILL WASN'T 100% SURE SHE WAS GRAVID.JUST AS I WAS LOSING HOPE, I CAME HOME TO A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!HERE ARE SOME PICS OF THE BABIES AND THE SIRE AND DAM. THE PARENTS SEEM TO BE BOTH COLUMBIANS BUT THE BABIES LOOK LIKE THEY MIGHT BE BOLIVIAN CROSSES.ANY GUESSES OF WHAT THEY MIGHT BE?

You may be on to something there. You could breed that line and try to get patternless, selectively bred animals in a couple more generations. Congrats on that great looking group of babies
