Dangerous Pet Store

Nikkoth Aug 18, 2003 10:47 PM

I just want to warn anyone shopping in the Madison/Chatham NJ area to beware a very dirty petstore with sick dying animals. The store is the Pet Center in Madison and even after many many customers coming forward about the problem they have not cleaned up there act.
I actually want to know the law as this place thinks that the health of there animals isn't important. I want to know who to report them to. Many animals have died there and they have a VERY serious mite problem. All of there animals are sick, not just reptiles but birds and small animals as well.
Never buy a reptile from them as they all are either ematiated or have parasites.
Please if you are in this are please heed this warning.

I would start with the local and county board of health, they should be able to steer you in the right direction. I'm in that area all the time, I'll stop by and check it out.

Thanks for checking by, I can't really go in as I quit there because of the horrible conditions. If anyone goes in there and sees bad conditions please mention it to the person at the counter and even ask for the manager or even the owner. They have to see that animals lives matter and not their wallets.
