I was wondering what you would put in a custom wooden tank that measures 48lx20dx30h. I would like something not to expensive, can be easily removed for tank cleaning, will not need expensive lighting, lives in a woodland setting, and will be active. Thats alot of parameters but i will try to get as many of them satisfied as i can. I already have leopard geckos, which i love, and would like to try something different. oh yeah.. it has to be a lizard of some sort.. the girlfriend is petrified of snakes and i'd like to keep her around.

Thanks a bunch

Tree frogs. Try Whites. They are the easiest to keep, but some are fairly dormant during the day. i have one that hides all day and comes out at night, and one that it currently sitting there staring at me, like she has every day for three years. She's a people watcher, and pretty active all the time. here's a pic of both of them! Enjoy, and goodluck!

The top one, Picasso, was a donation from PetCo. She was almost dead when I brought her home. She had a fungal infection on her lips, leg, and back. There were holes all over her. In fact, her entire elbow was exposed. As you can see in the Picture, that repti-Aid stuff did wonders. She is almost 100% better. She is just not eating on her own, which is highly odd. Oh well! She's progressing, and I am sure she will make Phoebe happy!

Donations are great, but also kind of sad. All but one of my pets (cats, dogs, leos) were either given to or found by us, or were dumped somewhere. My house is like a zoo now, but I'm lovin' it.
