I need some help one of my males who still eats like a pig crickets and mealworms over the last month he started loseing weight so i put him in a iso cage to make sure he was getting enough food since he was in with 2 big girls, but he was eating great and going to the bathroom normally. I live a good ways away from a vet. the deals with geckos but i talk to him over the phone he thinks my boy has a parasite and said i could buy a dust like calcium dust that might help push out the parasites but he could not remember the name but he said it is usually at most pet stores.
anyone know what it is

get your gecko to the rep vet ASAP ....
it probley has parasites... it has nothin to do with the calcuim geckos just need that on a normal basis ...

google something called crypro in leos, it's not good. take him to the vet asap, crypto is also called pencil tail or skinny tail. it can never be completely taken out of the gecko, but i think it can be treated so the gecko doesn't die. good luck
