My new yellow Amazon

AbsoluteApril Jul 20, 2007 11:36 AM

This is my new yellow ammie. (I also have an '01 garden phase). She was quite the biter the first time home, been about a month now and she's getting better.
I was very excited to pick her up, found her in the local classifieds.

Nice! I like that almost patternless look. Also looks like she's got some orange striping down by her tail?

It's funny, I didn't even notice the orangish striping on her tail until I saw the pictures!
I wonder if the black specks will get darker or fade more with age? My garden phase is almost patternless as well (2 out of 8 had her look in the owner's litter the rest were 'halloween') she had some pink chevrons and dark markings that have almost completely faded as she's gotten older.
Here's a pic of the yellow girl in her Barrs cage (not the best pic, I'm still learning with the camera)
Thanks for the nice comments, I'm very happy with her.
One of these days, I'll get a red male I hope!
