Why are you in desperate need of one? Whats the situation?

The only one that I know of in SOcal is Rhapsody Reptile Rescue. There's another one in the SF Bay area, (BAARS and also TVAR) and one in sonoma (leapin lizards) and snakecharm reptile rescue

Thanks for answering. This iguana is in perfect health, a real beauty, about 3.5 foot. I took her from a lady who had had her for 6 years and whose son tired of her and then both of them were afraid of her, but I couldn't see her going to a disgusting local pet shop. She now is in my back bath perched on the toilet with heating pad rapped in towels and a heat lamp pointed in the direction and a shower spa. This lady maintained her with a great diet and proper heating, but she is moving to a 1 bed. condo. The iguana will tolerate having its neck rubbed but whips its tail if you move too quickly, It has never been handled and needs the work and LOVE that I have seen on this forum. I can drive her to the proper place if you have a preference for any of the resues you mentioned. Alas, I have no room and can't keep her, but want to be assured that she gets a GOOD home.
