dude unless who ever is getting you those is giving them out for freee your getting ripped. Those geckos look less than 1 week old and i personally wouldn't recommend shipping anything under 1 month. Babies are more fragile and especially in the weather during the summer time its really easy for them to overheat. Heck if that picture was taken today i would say that gecko is no more than a week old and probably hasn't even shed or ate yet. Its a bad deal if you ask me of course the pic could be older so if so im wrong if not sounds like bad breeder etiquette aka BAD BREEDER.

It is obvious you are a newbie and you are pretty young, just by your post. Jcgecko is right, that it is bad practice to ship geckos of that age. They really shouldnt be shipped until they are eating steadily, have shed a few times and are well started. YOUR comments are unwanted and unnecessary.

Josh thanks for the backups on the post we both no how dangerous it is during this part of the year to ship geckos, especially where we live Florida. Well lets hope they aren't going far and that the person who is doing the shipping is responsible enough to take necessary precautions. As to the statement that i should be shot, why cuz i tried to help you out if your new to this forum which i know you are and you were getting some new geckos in a bad deal wouldn't you want someone to point it out to you. have fun paying for extra vet bills and the stress of taking care of them when they show up half dead or stressed beyond belief to the point where they wont eat. I know juveniles are the eaisest to ship so lets hope they are old enough. Otherwise i feel sorry for those geckos going into such little experience and lack of drive to find out how to care for these creatures.

well, JC, im glad you care they are doing fine, and were shipped fine. bad deal, i got 2 baby leos for 19.00 tell me how its a bad deal, or better yet, y dont you tell me how good of a breeder i have ! and one more thing buddy, i looked and researched leos for over a week on EVERY website i could find before i got them, so dont tell me i'm not responsible. yeah, a week isnt alot, but wen ur spending 8hours a day to make sure your new pets are as happy as possible, it seems like alot.

goalielocks Aug 20, 2003 11:51 PM

Wow, 56 whole hours!! you're obviously not a newbie considering half the people on this forum spent months or even years researching before they bought geckos I personally researched leopard geckos and my other options for three years before buying one, and it was another three years before I ever considered breeding them. and compared to a lot of the people on this forum I still know very little about these guys, before you go off telling somebody they are wrong you need to take into account there experience level compared to yours.
