I had a redfoot tort that loved Rose de Sharon so much that after he ate all the fallen blooms he would actually sit there and stare up waitng for one to fall. When one eventually did he would run over and gobble it up. Tom
does she not seem to mind that he's wanting to share her meal with her?
for mine, the answer is often: people food! he's so greedy... he pesters us for treats when we eat, so we indulge him occasionally. he also knows that the fridge is where his salad comes from, and pushes against the bottom of the door occasionally...
