I think I have its twin! I’ll look for a picture and try to post it. I was told mine was an Argentine Columbian cross by the guy I got mine from (he says he knows the guy who produced it) but I don’t believe it. I think it’s a Mexican or a Central cross.

I think this one looks like yours.
I don't really know enough about the tarahumaras to comment, but this is an 04 female nic.

oh!
Yeah, if that's a tarahumara, then they DO look very similar!
I can definitely see how yours could be one!
Cool snake. How big is it?

mine is 5-6ft and pretty agressive, i only handled him with my bare hands once and while i was holding him he snapped at my g/f walking by twice and strikes everytime i take him out to clean his cage

If you want to try to help the aggressive behavior, don’t feed him in his cage, feed in another container like a plastic tub. Do this for two reasons; one he won’t associate the cage opening with getting feed, and you will end up handling him more.

They say snakes don’t bite out of anger but fear, some bite because of pray confusion.

In my experience Mexicans and Centrals tend to be a little more vocal also so don’t let that deter you.

Good luck, he’s pretty cool looking.

Thanks for the information but i personally dont agree, with the feeding out of the cage, i never have and never will, i deal mainly with large boids such as bcc's, burms, and retics, also like to mess with anacondas, it's way to dangerious to feed an animal that big out of the cage, and i have never seen any of my snakes go for food soon as the cage is open unless i'm thawing something and they smell it. but with the handling goes yes your right i do need to handle him more often, his strikes are never feeding responce but just agressive, these species i have herd are alot more agressive which doesnt help eather.

Thanks for your responce, it's always nice to hear other people's thoughts on it
here's some pics of one of my guyana rtb's

To each his own. I don’t blame you for not feeding separate with the big boys, logistically it’s almost impossible. I don’t have anything really big like that in my collection. I like to feed separately, when I can, so I can do things like spot cleaning and such, but I do have to admit, one of my snakes is so timid that it will only eat if undisturbed.

Nice collection. May we all find time to handle all of our snakes as much as they need to be held to be as tame as possible.
