I'm going to go a bit OT....Min pins are awesome! They are very much considered a yappy toy dog, but are quite the opposite (as long as you don't succumb to their massive desire to eat constantly... my absolute pet peeve is a fat min pin!). They are actually very athletic. Ours hunt like crazy. Vegas has caught and killed 3 huge wild rabbits, and will jump our four foot fence to chase after them if the escape! We actually have two min pins! Ours are very tall and thin (one is 14 pounds the other 18 pounds).
Make sure your covers are ready for the little guy!

My twin sister has a min pin, a little hyper for me. We went ahead and got a red dobie. I will have to say, she is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever seen. A little on the protective side, but that is exactly what we wanted.
Can't go wrong with a dobie, no matter what size they are, lol.

My sisters dogs are the Chihuahua / Rat Terrier cross (Dark one, Lady) and the Mini Pin (Tan, Daisy).
My beautiful lil puppy is the grey/blue Xoloitzquintle. He is a mini, blue, totally hairless. 3 types, size and colors. His name is Teoki.
I researched for 2 years for a breed I thought would suit me and I chose him for his three 'positive features' vs only one negative, in my opinion...
He's very inteligent, learns quick.
Breed is known to NOT bark (ALELUIAH!!!)
Hairless= no alergies, dirt, fleas, grease/matt, shed, etc.
But if you want to see what HYPER is!?!?!?! OH BOY!!!
