Two things:

Why is everyone "hating" on the CRBs?
I like them and there's no reason to start this fight between the CRBs and BRBs, its the RAINBOW Forum....we can share and be nice. Too much stress is here now.

My bird, Ipo died. That sucks, the second loss in a week and a half, first Mad Hatter, now Ipo.

How were your guys' weeks?

I guess thats three things.

Oh Jess, I am so sorry to hear about your bird. He looks like he was a very pretty one. I used to have birds when I was younger, they are such fun animals.

My week has been wierd. At work the other day I was towing a plane and the tug blew up. I got a bath in antifreeze, but other than that the plane and I were undamaged. Then a couple days ago I broke my toe taking some broken mirror pieces out to the dumpster. (The kitties were having a bit too much fun in the bathroom!) I really don't know exactly how I did it... I tripped going down some stairs and I guess I caught myself on it as it bent over.

Yeah, broken tpoes suck, only had one and there's nothing you can do but grin and bear it. Worst thing for me was it was only a couple of days before a water ski week long trip. Damn it hurt putting the ski on. But once on skiing was np.

First off very sorry to hear about your bird, that sucks!!

I don't think anyone is hating on CRB's, I know I'm not. Just messin with Scott since he seems to invite it soooo much.

My week has been tiring, been working on the house, replaced the carpet in a hallway and linoleum in adjacent entry way with laminate flooring. If you remember the house, it's gthe entire floor from the front door to the snake room. With all the bends and turns and doorways, it was a real PITA to cut and fit all together. Looks pretty good though. Planning on continuing the same flooring into the snake room eventually. Should be a lot easier fitting it in there as the snake room is square. BUT, will have to move all the cages etc. UGH!!!

I wasnt specifically naming anyone, there are a few who certainly havent been very welcoming or friendly in the forum (at least the way I see it) I just know that it is something I look forward to coming home to reading everyday and it makes me sad he wants to leave. I was thinking of getting a CRB just to show the love but my mom said no more and i think she has forgotten I still have a deposit on one of your babies (when are those coming by the way?).
Fortunately my mom said that she would help me pay for a new little parrotlet for my birthday, I just dont know how he could have died, he was such a great bird and doing so well.
anyway....
I remember your house vividly (how could I not when Genevieve, Zoe and Ziggy live there?) and that hallway would be a nightmare! You havent gotten your girls to help you? My dad would somehow always manage to recruit me first to help with replacing concrete (I'd be using a jack hammer!), repainting the interior of our house, not to mention repainting the fence and eventually REPLACING the fence and then building a deck. I can honestly say i hate digging post holes.
Good luck with the linoleum in the Snake Room, you should christen it with a fabulous new addition or something equally rewarding after all that work!

I didn't think you meant any one specifically. Scott and I have a back and forth banter that's been going on for quite some time. I don't tink he's really going anywhere, just having fun stirring the pot.

IMO, only get a CRB if YOU want one, not to support someone else's position.

Still waiting on babies, should be starting to drop within a few weeks.

Birds are funny, by the time they show any signs of illness quite often they are quite near death.

I did have help from one daughter, she's the one who loves to help out and see how things work.

Not gonna start on the snake room floor any time real soon, got other things on the honey do list

i wasn't aware of anyone actually dissing on crbs. i know that everything i said was purely for humor purposes, (such as "i just got a crb" and posting a pic of my brb) i hope nothing i said was offensive =(

ks to redo the rainbow forum in a couple of years so the crb's can be a sub-forum of our forum cuz I really hate reading any of Scott's posts or any other post with a crb. They look like they got hit with the ugly stick many many many times lol. Scott is a jokester as well as a few of us on the forum so it will or should always be out of fun. And yes Scott does ask for it like Dave mentioned

I'm sorry to hear about your loses. It's always sad to lose pets.

I really don't think we're "hating" on anyone here. I think we just like to give each other a hard time. I only have one CRB and no BRBs, though I do think they are gorgeous snakes, but I do like to point out that CRBs are much better snakes just to stir up the rivalry a little more
