I have a 77 degree cool side and a 94 degree hot side. How do I get the cool side up a little? I want it at about 80-82. Adding a heat lamp is out of the question, because that would just fry her. I need some help.

I think you just might leave it the way it is and you should be good with that. Since she has not eaten f/t, just try live next time. Later on, when she is consistently feeding the way she should be, try a prekilled or heated f/t mouse and maybe she'll convert over. My snakes did, all 5 of my juvies switched from live to f/t. She should too.

The cool side temps in my tubs range from 77-80 depending on how high up the tub is in the rack. Your girl probably just needs more time to settle in . The last hatchling I bought took close to 3 weeks to start feeding for me, but now she's great.

Like everyone mentioned, the 77 degree cool side is just fine. However, you might want to get a rheostat to bring down the hot side a little. LLL Reptile sells them for a fairly reasonable price.

Good luck, and relax! Your best bet is to get her set up, make sure the water's full, and forget about her for a week.
