Meet The Dots?

exposito Jul 22, 2007 06:42 PM

To this point 4 of these have hatched and they all have a dot on the head. The father is an Extreme, but no luck yet. There are still 3 more to go so we hope to see some very light red eyed boogers.

Thanks!

Hey Joe,

Turns out that I know your brother, Scott...small world huh.

Anyway do you have any pictures of the Extreme and the female you paired him with?

That dot thing is AWESOME...I think that makes the snake worth at least another 25 bucks!

Keep us posted on the others to hatch...LOVE THOSE BABIES!

They all hatched and they all have the dot on the head. The mother was a nice Hypo, but not an Extreme. She just had what we hope is her pre-lay shed for her second clutch. I will try to post pics of the parents soon. You have a pretty nice group pictured there yourself! My brother produces a bunch of nice stuff and has for a long time.

Thanks!

Hey Joe

I don't think you have produced any ugly snakes yet. You'll have a colorful table at Daytona. Talk Later.

Joe,

Beautiful hatchlings...and that dot on the head is really cool. Years from now people will be able to pove lineage due to the dot. I dont think I have seen that anywhere else. Congrats on the great clutch.

Thank all of you for the kind words. We took a few pics today and realized that the dots came from the mother. She looks like she may go again soon.

Thanks!

Just a question... are these Falcon stock animals?

exposito Jul 23, 2007 12:34 PM

Hello,

To the best of our knowledge Mike produced the first Extremes, so
they were all from his stock at some point. This male was purchased from Terry Dunham and is possibly Het Anerythristic. We have another male that is definite Het Anerythristic, that we purchase from Mike.

Thanks!

Actually I was referencing it 'cause I have a couple hypo het aneries from Mike (extreme lineage) that have that dot expressed on their heads as well -- it's unlikely but let me know if you have a good enough ratio to part with a solo girl! Thanks and great looking animals by the way!
