Cal kings, like most North American colubrids, should do well with a temp gradient of 85/75. 90 is OK as long as he has a cooler place to hide, although it wouldn't hurt to go a couple degrees cooler.

For an adult cal king, you could feed him 1 or 2 adult mice a week. Regurgitation can be caused by several things: incorrect temps, stress, illness, or parasites. To avoid stress, don't handle your snake for 48 hours after it eats. If he still pukes that could indicate parasites or illness and you should take it to the vet.

Good luck,
Andy
