Steve_Harrison Jul 22, 2007 11:05 PM

Or that danged Derma thing? I've been off the forums for about 6 months and so much new cool stuff has hatched out- What about Brian @ BHB's super Pinstripe?

Thanks,

Stevo

I'm more shocked we haven't heard anything about the Circus Ball. Then again, no one seems to share it when things turn out to be flukes, so who knows. Maybe it was egg stress or a developmental issue that caused one or both of those snakes.

I saw the Circus ball at Tinley two years ago and from memory it looked a bit "off".... odd scalations etc.

I guess we won't know unless the owners come here and fill us in.

Haha, couldn't help myself.

But honestly, I'm curious too. Although it wouldn't be the first snake to disappear from teh radar until the breeder had more time to work with it.

While we are on the subject, where's that Super Lori?

The Circus had 8 daughters last year (from a normal mother) - he (Jim) was a little late to start breeding this season - the circus has bred 7 girls this year but so far no eggs. He has a sister from the same clutch that is believed to be gravid.

(CJBianco explaining the origins of the BP market.)
"In the beginning Bob created the Ball Python market. And the market was without morph, and wild traits were upon the industry. And Bob said, Let there be morph, and there was morph. And Bob saw the morph, that it was good; and Bob divided the morph from the wild trait. And Bob called the morph Albino, and the wild trait Normal. And the Albino and the Heterozygous Albino were the first investment.

The Derma Ball was proven and at last I herd there were 3 of them and I think the hole reason for the project was to determine if it was a jean that was homozygous but not to produce more but to find and eliminate it as to not produce more . It is not always a case of we can but should we and this was a case of we should not , but some times you have got to go forward to find the out what should be left alone .
