I have never found it to be a rule. The only thing I noticed was that the Love hypos had a plain yellow belly and the Beard hypos had lots of flecks. Otherwise that stuff about Bill Love and plain bellies is not true. It may have been for a particlar area where they were getting their florida kings from. SO it may have been the collecting area they were hitting (if small) had this occurance.
Otherwise I have not found any ryme to plain or flecked bellies. I had lots of flecked belly high yellow normals.
