Eastern's pricing?

CFlowers Jul 22, 2007 11:51 PM

I think in 5 or more years Ive only seen Eastern milks for sale. What would a hatchlimg sell for? I mean what would be a fair price?
God Bless

If it is eating FT pinkies my guess would be 40 - 50 dollars. If it's an adult or sub adult then i would guess twice the hatchling price. With these snakes i would ask to see the feeding record if the seller has one and I might want to see it eat a pinky. If its a well know dealer then you can take his word.
This snake below was wild caught and released cause it didn't eat pinkys. When I found it it had just eaten a snake

This was the proof....

......
A good eater

This good eater has not eaten in a few weeks because its later in the season and he wants live pinks now but in april may and june he ate well

I'd have to agree that $50 or so for a hatchling seems right. Although factors such as locale specific animals known for lighter coloration and obvious pink feeders can easily tempt eastern enthusiasts to pay more! Although it's a specific market... Have a good one.
