Madrean Alligator Lizard on my porch

I found this little guy (Madrean Alligator Lizard, Elgaria kingii) on my back porch a few days ago. I love living at the foot of Miller Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains.

very nice! last evening my wife called me to front porch to look at a lizard and it was a arizona alligator too! these rains are bringing them out here in south east az/jon

Man, that is a beauty! A buddy of mine found one of those last year in the Huachucas also. He said his loves snails & Black Widows.
